In such a situation, today we are going to tell you an easy recipe to make oil free samosa i.e. baked samosa. Like fried samosas, oil free samosa also looks very tasty. If you want to make oil free samosa at home, then you can easily prepare it with the help of our given recipe. If a guest has come at home, then you can also serve this baked samosa to him. Let’s know the simple recipe for making oil free samosas.

Ingredients for making oil free samosa
Maida – 3 cups
Potato – 4-5
Peas – 1/2 cup
Ginger grated – 1 tsp
Green chili – 2-3
Green coriander leaves chopped – 2-3 tbsp
Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Dry mango – 1/2 tsp
Whole coriander – 1 tbsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Dry active yeast – 1/2 tsp
Sugar – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 1-2 tsp
salt – as per taste

Oil free samosa recipe
To make oil free samosa i.e. baked samosa, first of all, put all purpose flour in a big bowl, add sugar, dry active yeast, 1 teaspoon oil and a pinch of salt and mix it well. Now knead the dough with the help of lukewarm water. Knead the dough until smooth by kneading it for at least 4 to 5 minutes. After kneading the dough, cover it with a cotton cloth and keep it aside for 2 hours. In this time the dough will almost double in size. After this we can start making samosas from the dough.

Now put the potatoes in the cooker and boil them. After this, peel off the potatoes and mash them well in a vessel. After this, finely chop green chillies and coriander leaves. After this, put some oil in a pan and heat it. After the oil is hot, add finely chopped green chillies, green coriander, cumin powder, coriander powder and peas and fry them.
After roasting peas for 2 minutes, add mashed potatoes to it, mix and fry. After this add red chili, garam masala and all other dry spices to the potatoes, mix and let it cook. Turn off the gas after 2 minutes and take out the prepared stuffing in a vessel.

Now take maida flour again and knead it. After this, break the dough balls in equal proportion. Now take one ball and roll it and then with the help of a knife cut it into two parts. Take one part and make a triangle like a cone and then fill the potato stuffing in it. After this, stick the edge of the samosa with the help of water and keep it in a plate/tray. Similarly prepare samosas with all the spices. Now keep the samosa plate/tray covered for half an hour.

After the fixed time, preheat the samosas in the oven at 180 degree Celsius. Bake it for 10 minutes. After this, check the samosas and when they become light brown, bake again for 5 minutes. In 15 minutes the samosas will turn golden from both the sides. Now take out the tray from the oven. Oil free samosas full of taste are ready. Serve them with tomato sauce or green chutney.
